Job Requirements and Special Competencies

We require a Bachelors Degree and at least 5 years of Carrier/Wholesale Telecommunications Sales experience for this position. Candidates should be experienced in selling and have strong contacts with major Telecom operators and ISPs in The Middle East. The candidate is expected to have a top performing sales experience with ISP and Carrier Accounts. A thorough knowledge of wholesale products, services and processes, and a solid understanding of telecom/data products and services (i.e. private line, IP Transit, VOIP and IP VPN) is a must. Candidates must have impeccable communication skills (verbal and written) as well as strong negotiation, and presentation skills.

Candidate should be fluent in speaking and writing the following languages: Arabic and English. Any additional language is welcome.

The candidate will report to the Sales Director Carrier Sales SEMEA and should be located in Dubai.

90% Direct customer contact and sales work
10% Internal meetings and reporting
The job requires frequent travelling.

Responsibilities

Key Job Responsibilities Duties:

We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager able to position Global Crossing particularly in The Middle East markets and develop business with Major telecom operators in the whole region. Overall purpose of the job is to position Global Crossing in The Middle East and boost revenues by selling Global Crossing Carrier products and services.

To bring in new ISP and Carrier customers in region
To achieve your territory targets, as laid out in your Commission Plan.
To strive for the highest level of quality in all tasks.
To maintain an excellent level of product knowledge.
To follow up all leads generated within your territory.
To maintain a high level of client contact in order to meet and exceed quarterly targets.
To maintain a continuously updated knowledge of the Telecoms industry.
To protect and grow revenues to meet agreed targets within nominated prospect list.
To develop your territory by identifying and developing new business opportunities.
To provide achievements, progress and weekly forecasting reports.
To develop accounts and marketing plans for the region.
