Responsibilities
This established orthopedic & sports hospital facility features a 50 bed hospital, multiple operating theatres, recovery rooms, normobaric hypobaric chambers, superior rehabilitation, sports performance enhancement and training facilities, making it a world class hospital. Due to contract a completion we are now seeking to appoint a new Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the facility.
As COO you will provide leadership, manage the day-to-day operations, and ensure proper operational controls, procedures, and systems within the Centre. Aligning with the directives of the Managing Director, you will provide council to senior management offering advice, guidance, and direction on business matters, including operational policies, business initiatives, and management of existing business relationships. Fostering a success-oriented and accountable environment is paramount to your success in this role. You will also be heavily involved in the upcoming JCI Accreditation
The successful applicant for this role will be tertiary qualified in Healthcare and possess demonstrated hands-on experience within the Sports Medicine, Orthopedic Hospitals or broader Medical sectors. The proven ability to deal with staff at all levels of an organization and assimilate quickly to a new environment will be essential. A tax free remuneration package + living allowances and travel will be offered to the successful applicant.
